Reconnecting with Art

These days, setting up for painting, sculpture and so on is much more than I can seem to manage.

But I miss it. So, I'm trying a different approach, one my sister found and works with (much better and more expert than I). That would be textile art. Thanks, Sis.

Two of the things I've always enjoyed in my art practice are combining words with images and commentaries on societal throwaways. Okay, maybe not the nicest description. How about the less valued members of our communities?

So I hope this venture feeds my creativity in writing while giving me a break from working on the manuscript for my Master's. Fifty-four thousand words and counting. Goal one: Somewhere in the vicinity of 80k. Goal two: Complete before graduation at the end of May. Goal three: Find it a home.
