Writing, art, music - creativity of any sort can (and does) get us through the hellish times. We heal faster and need fewer pain medications. It relieves stress, anxiety, and depression. It helps us let go of the toxic.

Those in the who's who of the creatives have this to say about creating and mental health:

"Art opens the closets, airs out the cellars and attics. It brings healing.” – Julia Cameron

“Art is about building a new foundation, not just laying something on top of what’s already there.” – Prince

“Art is a wound turned into light.”- Georges Braque

And my favourite:

“Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.” – Twyla Tharp

As a PhD student currently juggling research and a part-time job at Affordable Assignments, I truly resonate with the importance of mental health in academic life. During my college days, I faced immense stress and struggled with balancing studies and personal responsibilities, which sparked my deep interest in helping others manage these challenges. Now, assisting students in their academic work and helping them do my assignment requests, I’ve realized how crucial it is to create a supportive environment that prioritizes mental well-being alongside academic success. Being conscientious about my own studies and mindful of others’ struggles, I’ve seen firsthand how small acts—like guidance, encouragement, or just listening—can make a huge difference in fostering mental resilience.
